Terms of Use

These are the house rules for using YOYO, whether you book online or walk in. They keep the floor fair, the stations working and the Bounce Break safe for everyone.

Booking & hours

The club runs from 20:00 to 04:00 Monday through Thursday, and 20:00 to 06:00 Friday through Sunday. A booking through our form holds a seat for the date and length you chose, and we confirm it by email. If plans change, let us know early so we can free the seat for someone else. Walk-ins are welcome when the floor has room, but the evening block fills quickly.

Paying for time

You pay for seat time — by the hour, by the evening block, or by the overnight block. Rates are settled at the desk when you arrive. Nothing at YOYO is a wager, nothing pays out, and no session is ever a game of chance; you are simply renting a fast machine and a good chair.

Conduct on the floor

Keep it friendly. Loud wins are fine; abuse of other players or staff is not. Food and drink stay clear of the keyboards, and the volume on your headset is your business, not the row's. We may ask anyone to leave who puts the gear, the staff or other guests at risk, and we would rather never have to.

The equipment

Treat the stations and chairs as you would want to find them. You are welcome to bring your own keyboard, mouse, headset or controller and plug in; please do not open, remove or reconfigure anything that belongs to the club. Tell us straight away if something is broken so we can fix or swap it — you will not be blamed for honest wear.

The Bounce Break

The Bounce Break corner uses a soft foam ball and a low ring. It is there to loosen you up between rounds, not to compete over. Use it gently, mind the people nearby, and put the ball back when you are done. Any streaks chalked on the board are for laughs only and carry no reward.
